Underground Telecom Construction Leadership Opportunity – Albuquerque, NM

A major utility and telecommunications infrastructure contractor is expanding its team in Albuquerque and looking to bring on a General Foreperson / Field Leader to support underground fiber and utility construction projects.

This company is known for delivering projects faster, smarter, and safer, and is continuing to grow its telecom infrastructure operations across North America.

• Leading and coordinating underground construction crews on telecom and utility projects
• Assigning daily tasks and keeping work on schedule and aligned with project plans
• Overseeing work such as trenching, conduit installation, fiber placement, and directional drilling
• Maintaining strong jobsite safety standards and quality control
• Communicating with project leadership to keep projects moving efficiently
• Monitoring progress and helping resolve issues that arise in the field
• Supporting planning, scheduling, and coordination of construction activities

• Experience leading field crews (Foreman, General Foreman, Field Supervisor, Construction Supervisor, etc.)
• Background in underground utility construction or telecom fiber projects
• Experience with OSP / outside plant telecom construction
• Familiarity with trenching, conduit installation, underground fiber builds, or directional drilling
• Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate field operations
• Strong communication and leadership skills
