To have a deep, hands‑on understanding of running paving crews and working within strict specification requirements. You’ve been on crews delivering high‑quality results on complex projects, meeting challenging specs and tolerances. You understand the intricacies of hitting grade, compaction, and material specifications while maintaining efficiency and quality.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with the general public, engineers, inspectors, and customers to ensure smooth project progress and a positive company image.
• Foster a team‑focused, high‑morale environment by encouraging skill development and collaboration among crew members.
• Oversee and direct project crews and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Guide crews in safe equipment operation, improving productivity and maintaining clean and organized job sites.
• Monitor project costs, material yields, and productivity, addressing any issues or inefficiencies proactively.
• Keep detailed daily logs of important conversations, events, and job progress for future reference
