Overview:
The Utton Transboundary Resources Center at the University of New Mexico School of Law seeks a part‑time Fiscal Services Tech to assist with maintaining fiscal controls, processing routine financial transactions, reconciling and analyzing financial data, and supporting budget development. The position reports to the Utton Center Director and ensures the center’s budgets comply with university policies.
- Reconciling financial accounts and labor distributions.
- Planning budgets, salary schedules, and mid‑year projections.
- Managing purchase requisitions, orders, and payroll.
- Assisting with the development of budgets and fiscal management.
- High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of direct experience related to the duties.
- Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution above the minimum education requirement may substitute experience on a year‑for‑year basis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience with UNM systems and administrative processes.
- Knowledge of Banner, Chrome River, Lobo Mart.
- Interest in water management.
- Bilingual Spanish and English speaking and writing.

Non‑Exempt. Pay: $18.81 – $27.38 per hour. Benefits:
