Velos is seeking qualified candidates for an upcoming contract positioned onsite at the Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM, supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) SSHINE contract.
Project Control Analyst
Qualified candidates are knowledgeable Project Control Analysts, preferably with experience supporting classified programs.
Responsibilities- Partner with management to ensure proper cost allocation to the project cost objectives.
- Evaluate project cost against project budgets. Assure cost control and accounting procedures are being adhered to.
- Review and analyze the status of assigned projects for the purpose of cost reporting. Provide management with clear and accurate cost information to help them make decisions.
- Verify accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Archive project files regarding payroll, invoicing, cost controls, purchase orders, contracts and subcontracts as required.
- Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
- Education Requirements – 10+ years of experience with AA degree or 5+ years of experience with BS/BA degree.
- Clearance Requirements – TS with ability to obtain SCI. U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
