Responsibilities- Growth:
The Strategist is a senior role responsible for obsessing over our clients’ growth and maintaining momentum for both the client and our work with them. - Clear Vision:
Define a comprehensive understanding of goals, strategic plans, and parameters to ensure every tactic serves a higher-order strategy. - Lead Strategic Planning Process:
Serve as the primary strategic face of MW during the Charrette Planning Process, facilitate meetings, write briefs, emcee client meetings, and develop an identity-led plan post-onboarding. - Guide Ongoing Clients:
Act as catalyst and integrator for all ongoing clients, briefing specialists and ensuring deliverables align with the client’s strategy and identity. - Lead Workshops:
Facilitate client workshops and deliver on-the-spot strategic thinking and consultation, even when operating solo. - Presenting:
Demonstrate strong presentation and storytelling skills for clients and the MW team. - Research Development and Analysis:
Utilize MW’s qualitative and quantitative research products, collaborating with internal Research Specialists and vendors to gather relevant data. - Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records and files for client work, research, and strategy development. - Relationships:
Develop deep internal and external relationships.
- Strong analytical skills to gather and organize data, findings, and market trends.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving with a keen eye for data interpretation and pattern matching.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Professionalism combined with relatability to develop relationships with clients and be seen as a credible advisor.
- Ability to make progress in ambiguous situations and drive clarity for the work and the team.
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Ability to lead, develop opinions, and apply them in work.
- Willingness to work the hours required to get the job done, including travel time and above-average hours to meet deadlines.
