Job Description $1,250 Hiring Bonus General Description of Duties
Will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Facilities Department. Serve as back-up Receptionist and maintain standard procedures for handling phones, visitors, mail routing, etc. May assist with managing the agency document control system which involves reviewing, updating, and working with document owners to ensure that documents conform to company standards. Will perform general clerical duties (i.e. filing); take calls from customers;
address customer questions or complaints; maintain equipment, and office supplies. Maintain department information ensuring that data is entered into the various databases and submits a variety of administrative reports as required.
High School diploma or equivalent, two (2) years general clerical experience required. Experience answering multiple phone lines is also required. Must have the ability to provide exceptional customer service, and display attention to detail. Demonstrated organizational skills are required. Must have experience with writing and editing documents including policies and procedures. Must have excellent PC skills, including a high proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
Have the ability to edit and proof documents with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, with internal and external customers of Adelante. Have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors and co-workers.
Must have the ability to meet established deadlines. Must have the ability to maintain harmonious, courteous, and considerate relationships, while fostering a collaborative teamwork environment with both agency employees and the public. Have the ability to present a friendly, courteous image for the Agency to the general public, customers, and public officials.
Must pass background/fingerprint investigation and pre-employment drug screening. Must possess a valid NM driver’s license, and proof of auto liability insurance. Must have own reliable transportation and agency insurable driving record. Must be able to sit, perform keyboarding functions continually. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach above shoulder(s) frequently. Must be able to push/pull and lift 10-15 lbs.
