Position: Public Staff Tax Accountant
Description

Calling all PART time tax professionals! We are seeking a Public Staff Tax Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity to support our growing public accounting team. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing individual and corporate tax returns, handling general tax preparation tasks, and working with client financial data using CCH Pro System, CCH Pro, Intuit, and Quick Books. The ideal candidate has experience in a public accounting environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple returns during busy periods.

This position offers the opportunity to transition into a long-term role for the right candidate. M-F 12-5, $30/hr.

Requirements - Proven experience in preparing and reviewing individual and corporate tax returns.

- Strong knowledge of tax preparation processes and regulations.

- Proficiency in CCH Pro System, Intuit, and Quick Books software.

- Previous experience in a public accounting environment.

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

- Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment during busy seasons.
