• Performs diversified accounting and auditing assignments under supervision
• Participates in planning and scheduling client engagements
• Prepares and indexes work papers; performs procedures under GAAP to verify financial accuracy
• Develops understanding of GAAP, other accounting principles, and financial statement presentation
• Gains knowledge of auditing standards and procedures
• Communicates effectively with clients to gather necessary information

• Meets all requirements to sit for the CPA exam; CPA certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years in public accounting with increasing responsibility
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Teamwork ability
• Experience in Government and Not-For-Profit industries is a plus
