Support multiple long-term skilled care locations within 150 miles of your permanent address.
Additional compensation includes a $5 per hour float premium and a $1.25 per hour evening/night shift differential (6:00pm – 6:00am).
Requirements include working at least 30 hours per month and at least one weekend shift per month. A minimum of 3 months of experience in Long Term Care is required; 6 months preferred.
Job SummaryThe RN is responsible for providing individualized nursing care using the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Practices within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to age and population-specific standards. Cares for residents across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Coordinates care, assesses residents, provides education, and performs various nursing interventions.
May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope, skills, and competence levels. Ensures safe, reliable resident care and addresses care concerns. Works within the standards outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and relevant state regulations, guided by the American Nurses Association's standards and code of ethics.
QualificationsGraduation from a nationally accredited nursing program (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA) is preferred; a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is also preferred.
Current unencumbered RN license in the practicing state or multistate licensure if in an NLC state. Maintains required competencies and certifications.
