Job SummaryAdjunct Chemistry Faculty – Course‑by‑course appointment. Responsibilities include teaching developmental and/or college‑level courses, including distance‑learning courses during the day and evening, on weekdays and weekends. Primarily face‑to‑face with the possibility of remote instruction.
Work Schedule & LocationLocation:
Albemarle County, including the Giuseppe Center in Greene County and correctional facilities in Fluvanna, Buckingham, and Dillwyn. Telework options are subject to change.
The successful candidate will possess expert skills, knowledge, experience, and education in chemistry, and a history of successful teaching or related experience.
- Minimum education:
Master’s degree in chemistry or a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in chemistry. - Two years of teaching experience, work experience in the field, and experience with online teaching.
