Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is a nonresidential two‑year institution of higher education that serves Central Virginia. The position may include teaching at any PVCC location, including the Giuseppe Center in Greene County and correctional facilities in Fluvanna, Buckingham, and Dillwyn. Applications will be received on a continuous basis, as openings occur.

Adjunct faculty members are sought in the following discipline:
Geology
.

• Teach developmental and college‑level courses, which may include distance‑learning courses during the day and evening.
• Primarily face‑to‑face instruction with the possibility of remote instruction.
• May assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

• Master’s degree in Geology or equivalent with 18 graduate hours in Geology.
• Two years of teaching experience, work experience in the field, and experience with online teaching.
• Expert skills, knowledge, experience, and education in the subject area.

To and from any college campus/site location as assigned.
