Responsibilities
Our Dock and Door Technicians are in a construction-based position. Responsibilities include service & installation of loading dock/material handling products. Technicians will travel daily to customer locations to provide services dependent on our customers needs. Duties include installation of new dock and door equipment, troubleshooting and diagnosing customer equipment, and providing a high level of customer service. Day-to-day technicians will work with electrical, hydraulic and mechanical repairs and installations.
QualificationsDock and Door Technicians must adapt to a changing work schedule and respond to a consistent flow of service calls. They must maintain confident communication with customers, gather and provide all necessary information during installation, service or maintenance calls, and document and report findings/work performed. Technical competence is required.
CompensationStarting pay: $28.00/hour DOE
Signing bonus: $1,500 once new hire has completed 12 months of employment
- Experienced material handling technicians with 3 or more years' experience are eligible for a one-time $3,000 bonus paid out after 12 months of continuous employment.
