Greenberry Industrial is seeking experienced Structural Welders for projects in Oregon
, with an immediate need by 02/02
. Candidates must be capable of producing high-quality, code-compliant structural welds in industrial and construction settings.

All applicants must successfully pass a hands-on weld test prior to hire.

This role is ideal for safety-focused welders who take pride in precision, consistency, and working as part of a skilled team.

• Perform structural welding using SMAW (Stick) and/or FCAW per project requirements
• Weld carbon steel structural components including beams, columns, plates, and frames
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Perform welding in multiple positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead)
• Ensure welds meet AWS and project-specific quality standards
• Conduct visual inspections and assist with QA/QC documentation as required
• Safely operate welding equipment and maintain tools in good working condition
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE, hot work permits, and site-specific rules
• Work collaboratively with foremen, fitters, and other craft personnel

• Journeyman-level experience as a Structural Welder
• Proficiency with SMAW and/or FCAW welding processes
• Experience welding structural steel in industrial or commercial environments
• Ability to pass a Greenberry Industrial weld test
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards
• Reliable attendance and ability to meet project schedules

• Current or previous AWS structural welding certification
• Experience working on industrial plants, mills, or heavy construction projects
• Experience with fabrication and field welding
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1 standards
