Local Office Equipment Company is seeking a business-to-business sales representative.

Summary:

Responsible for outside business-to-business office furniture/sales opportunities, networking, relationship building, marketing to increase presence in industry, facilitating sales while ensuring customer satisfaction. This position will prospect, cold call, qualify leads and close sales.

• Valid driver's license. Will be driving the company vehicle.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word. Math oriented.
• Read Blueprints. Familiarity with GIZA – a plus.
• Travel within specified area.

• Previous sales experience strongly preferred, but not required.

• Generating leads that close.
• Marketing products.
• Building strong relationships with customers.
• Scheduling and visiting customers for sales appointments.
• Acquiring and retaining a strong product knowledge.
• Tracking daily leads and communications.
• Maintaining accuracy in company systems.
• Assisting in the office.

• Experience in outside sales positions.
• Strong communication skills (oral, written and presentation skills).
• Knowledge of office furniture terminology and products is preferred.
• Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement.
• Work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Pleasant personality to work with customers and co‑workers.
• Willing to learn new ideas, concepts and follow instructions.
• Training reimbursement opportunities available.

• Full-time, Monday‑Friday 8:00am‑4:30pm.
• $20 per hour, depending on experience, plus commission.
