Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the distribution, collection and organization of the choral library documents/sheet music.
Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC, maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better, and have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at Linn-Benton Community College.
- Requires basic office operations knowledge and skills.
- Must be able to use Google Sheets. Must be able to communicate effectively with large groups of people.
- Must be able to perform the duties of the position efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision and following well-defined policies and procedures.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with diverse populations in a courteous manner, exercising patience, either over the phone or in person.
- Must be able to work respectfully with individuals from all cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives.
- Requires the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Work is normally performed in an office setting with little or no exposure to health and safety hazards.
- Some evening hours may be required.
Working Conditions:
- Distribute, Collect and Organize Choral Library and Database.
- Communicate with the Department Chair on music quantity and inventory needs.
- Distribute, Collect and Organize Choral Uniforms.
- Communicate with the Department Chair on uniform quantity and inventory needs.
- Assist with music production program events and performance.
- Assist with social media marketing for the music program.
