• Transition position provides guided orientation to help integrate and apply medical knowledge and sharpen technical skills for newly graduated Registered Nurses.
• Accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age‑appropriate, direct and indirect patient care, while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing.

• The Medical Surgical unit specializes in the care of acutely ill adults and those who require both emergent and elective surgery. Medical Surgical patients receive the highest standards of professional care from registered nurses and nurse assistants. Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported.

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school program within the previous 12 months of the program start date.

• Climb stairs, various lifting, carrying, bending, rotating, reaching, pushing, pulling, standing, walking; specific weight limits as indicated.
