Parts Mover – Titanium Manufacturing – Swing ShiftUnder the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Parts Mover provides the movement of all parts within the Selmet backend processes.

Primary PurposeCoordinate the movement of all parts within backend processes, both onsite and off‑site, ensuring accurate paperwork and timely transfer of materials.
Duties and Responsibilities- Coordinate part movement between all backend processes, off‑site and within the building.
- Assure that paperwork is accurate and complete prior to transfer to the next location.
- Alkaline wash and/or mask castings.
- Facilitate any expediting needs as outlined by the Manufacturing Supervisor and/or Area Leads.
- Report schedule and product flow interruptions.
- Coordinate all backend tool movement requirements.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Solid job history with 1 year at recent or prior employer preferred.
- Ability to read and obtain a basic knowledge and understanding of written materials with on‑the‑job training.
- Basic high‑school level math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to understand measurements; read and use measurement tools correctly.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Flexible on shift including working swing or weekends.
- Desire to work with your hands in a production environment.
- HS diploma or equivalent GED required; candidates without this requirement but with relevant experience will be considered.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Willingness to undergo a pre‑employment background check.
- Willingness to participate in pre‑employment and periodic drug screening.
- Must take a baseline hearing test prior to starting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to use tool movement devices (carts, cranes, forklift).
- The job is performed under reasonably good working conditions with some exposure to noise, temperature, and machinery.
