Overview
The BHR Housing Manager is responsible for the support, training, and coordination of activities of the residential personnel and management of daily operations and services to serve people with diagnoses of severe and persistent mental illness. This position will identify and monitor program needs, create, plan, and implement training programs, processes, policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs in designated location sites.
Reliable and regular attendance is imperative.
Status:
Exempt - Full Time Salaried 40 Hours
Starting salary: 4678.26 Monthly
Salary Range: 4678.26 Monthly to 5919.33 Monthly
Shift information: Monday - Friday (Weekend coverage when needed)
Location: Albany
Reports to: Program Manager
Responsibilities- Support, train, and coordinate activities of the residential personnel and manage daily operations and services.
- Identify and monitor program needs; create, plan, and implement training programs, processes, policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs in designated location sites.
- Maintain reliable and regular attendance as required.
- Two (2) years’ work experience in a position that included supervisory and training responsibilities.
- Preference to candidates with five (5) years’ education in the human services field.
- Must have a current Oregon Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to be approved by the background criminal history unit.
- Ongoing excellent verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders inside and outside the organization.
- Extraordinary interpersonal communication skills and ability to empathize with people experiencing challenges.
- Regular need to design and develop single program (work unit) functions and related processes and procedures.
- Ability to assess risk and make determinations about tasks and deadlines.
- Thorough understanding of residential support services.
- Ability to monitor and prioritize needs.
- Responsible for the financial sustainability and budget of the program.
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented with understanding of professional ethics.
- Ability to quickly become proficient in all required office technology, including Office Machinery, MS Office programs, Dayforce, Office 365, and Intellidoc.
