Associate Patient Care Coordinator

The Associate Patient Care Coordinator provides patient care in accordance with established methods and techniques and conforms to recognized standards.

Location (Full‑time On‑site)

633 N Albany RD NW, Albany, OR 97321

May be required to travel to one or multiple locations for coverage as needed.

Schedule

This is a 40‑hour week, 8‑hour shift. Schedule is Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:15 am to 5:30 pm PST. The schedule will be determined by the supervisor upon hire.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Will participate in and maintain a culture within The Corvallis Clinic that is consistent with the content outlined in the Service and Behavioral Standards Handbook. To this end, employees will be expected to read, have familiarity, and embrace the principles contained within.
  • Greets patients for providers, answers the telephone, routes calls/tasks, books appointments, verifies patient insurance coverage, acts as cashier for payments and prepares for appointments.
  • Greets and checks patients in, verifies current demographics and insurance coverage, and notifies back‑office staff of a patient’s arrival in a timely manner.
  • Maintains working knowledge of the referral process.
  • Uses the correct search criteria to eliminate creation of duplicate documentation and enters data in the EHR.
  • Contacts the assistant or provider promptly when an acutely ill patient either telephones or approaches the reception desk with or without an appointment.
  • Directs patient flow and prepares patients for exams.
  • Proactively monitors and manages provider schedules for accuracy.
  • Actively participates in the cleaning of shared work areas.
  • Participates in the orientation and training of new employees.
  • May work at multiple sites as determined by department necessity.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Pay

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401(k) contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full‑time employment.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
  • 1+ years of computer proficiency experience (multi‑tasking through multiple applications including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word).
