• Assists pharmacists in medication preparation and labeling activities. Performs a broad range of technical support functions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

• Elm Street Pharmacy is a community pharmacy located next to Albany General Hospital. The pharmacy is open to any member of the public. Its primary role is to dispense community patient prescriptions. The pharmacy also offers immunizations, medication management services, hospice prescriptions, and medication assistance programs. The pharmacy is staffed by experienced pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who are dedicated to patient care.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One of the following required:
  • Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Currently enrolled first‑year Pharm
    
    D student in good standing with an accredited pharmacy school and current unencumbered Oregon Board of Pharmacy Intern license.
• Successful completion of Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred.
• All job offers are contingent upon the candidate passing a pre‑employment/post‑offer drug screen.

• Clerical – Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and designing forms.
