SEIU Represented Full Time (37.5 hours/week) position
Linn County Mental Health is recruiting for an experienced mental health therapist to work as a screener and clinician for EASA, and as a Mobile Response clinician for families and youth experiencing crisis. The person filling this position should be skilled in diagnosis, risk assessment, knowledge of the philosophy of recovery, individual, family, and group therapy, case management, and be able to provide professional consultation.
Both of these roles work within a multidisciplinary team, and often will be performing duties while in the community, including the home of consumers. Successful candidates will also have a growth mindset, value diversity, have a strong desire to promote equity, and be able to collaborate with a variety of different personalities and roles.
Master's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field is required. Professional or supervised practicum-level experience in providing similar services to persons with similar problems or concerns is desirable but not required. Any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience, education and training which demonstrates the ability to perform the work described may be acceptable.
