This position is located in Albany, NY. Hours are 6:30 PM to 3:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Compensation starts at $23.00 per hour and may include incentives.

• Deliver material to customers in an efficient and safe manner.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Ensure truck is in safe operating condition, looks clean and professional, and adheres to DOT regulations.
• Effectively communicate with internal customers such as sales associates and ops associates to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide first‑class delivery service to external customers.
• Provide feedback to supervisors to maintain efficiency in driving routes.
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge of GCE policies and procedures, participate in training, and attend meetings as requested.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
• Participate in processes and programs aimed at promoting a safe work environment.
• Follow all SOPs for the position, maintain high order accuracy, and deliver on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of professional driving experience.
• Knowledge of forklift operations and warehouse equipment preferred.
• Computer aptitude;
  Eclipse software experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and Medical DOT Card.
• Experience with routing software preferred.

• Customer service essential; electrical or construction knowledge a plus.
• Valid, unexpired driver’s license and Medical DOT Card.
• Clean driving record/MVR.
• Effective communication with internal and external customers.
• Good math and reading skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to understand maps/GPS.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and to push/pull up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stoop frequently.
• Ability to climb in and out of truck routinely.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
