Rate: $55 per hour
Position Overview
The organization has recently implemented a modernized retirement benefit administration system using an Oracle People Soft platform. We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to support and enhance this system in collaboration with the internal Application Development team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting People Soft applications and related components to ensure system performance, stability, and compliance with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance People Soft applications and modules
- Design and execute technical solutions using People Soft development tools
- Create and maintain technical design documentation and unit test scripts
- Perform SQL development and analysis within People Soft data structures
- Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders to implement system enhancements
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner
- Support ongoing system upgrades, patches, and enhancements
Minimum Qualifications
- Four (4) or more years of application development experience in People Soft, utilizing at least three of the following toolsets:
- XML
- People Soft SQR
- People Tools
- People Code
- PSQuery
- Data Mover
- Application Engine
- Four (4) or more years of experience writing and optimizing SQL within People Soft data structures
- Two (2) or more years of experience working with People Tools 8.57 or higher
- Two (2) or more years of experience developing technical design documentation and unit test scripts
Preferred Qualifications
- Four (4) years of experience implementing or supporting an Oracle People Soft solution
This role is ideal for a skilled People Soft Application Developer with strong technical expertise and experience supporting enterprise-level systems in a structured development environment.
Compensation
: $55 per hour
