The eLicensing Program mission is to develop, implement and maintain a single, statewide system for use by the State for all licensing and permitting needs.

The consultant will be performing tasks including:

• Developing Applications using SDLC with Java [JEE 1.6] including EJBs, JSP development using custom tags, Struts 2, Hibernate 4, and Java Frameworks / Packages such as JQuery 1.7, and Apache Commons
• Developing Java Script and ASP .NET 4.0
• Configuring COTS software (such as Accela) and familiarizing with COTS specific scripts
• Developing applications and providing support in Windows Server  and Linux environments, providing production on-call support for applications, troubleshooting, issue resolution, SDLC, security management, testing (unit, system, integration, performance tests), and developing technical documentation
• Developing Crystal Reports with Oracle back-end, or other report development software
• Familiarizing with NYS E-Licensing system and gaining expertise to provide support
• Leading technical meetings and support calls
• Working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Candidates should have at least 60 months experience, and below should apply

Application Development

Experience with Java [JEE 1.6] (i.e.

-EJBs, JSP development using custom tags, Struts 2, Hibernate 4, and Java Frameworks / Packages such as JQuery 1.7, and Apache Commons)

Experience in Java Script

Experience with ASP .NET 4.0

Experience with configuring COTS software (such as Accela) and familiarizing with COTS specific scripts

Experience with application support in Windows and/or Linux environments (i.e.

- production on-call support for applications, troubleshooting, issue resolution, SDLC, security management, testing (unit, system, integration, performance tests), and developing technical documentation).

Experience in Crystal Reports with Oracle back-end, or other report development software
