Position OverviewThis role supports the New York HBITS initiative by building and maintaining enterprise web applications for financial/reporting systems. You’ll design solutions using .NET (C#, , ASP.NET/MVC), Angular, Oracle PL/SQL, and Crystal Reports to deliver secure, reliable features. Success requires strong front-end skills (HTML/JS/CSS/Bootstrap), back-end integration, and experience translating business requirements into robust code.
Responsibilities- Design and develop solutions for CFRS and other OMH applications using MVC, .NET, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, XML, Web APIs, and WCF.
- Build and maintain Oracle assets (tables, indexes, constraints, views); write PL/SQL procedures/packages; handle data conversion/migration.
- Create and support Crystal Reports; diagnose report logic (rules, calculations, data).
- Manage PHI data carefully; follow HIPAA and security practices.
- Participate across the SDLC: analysis, development, testing, UAT, and production support.
- Use TFS/Git Lab for source control, branching, and versioning.
- Troubleshoot production issues via ITSM; join bridge calls and elevate when needed.
- Mentor state and consultant developers on debugging, deployment, security, data access, and architecture.
- 7 years Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop/maintain applications in C#, and/or ASP.NET for n-tier web deployment.
- 7 years Experience developing and maintaining web applications that utilize HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheets.
- 7 years Experience with Oracle:
Database design, PL SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc. - 7 years Experience in analyzing and interpreting business requirements for building the logic within an application's code to meet those requirements.
- 4 years Experience developing financial applications.
- 4 years Experience developing applications with Angular JS or later versions.
- 4 years Experience developing applications with MVC 5 or later versions.
- 4 years Experience developing reports with Crystal Reports version 10 or above and invoking them from .NET applications.
- 2 years Experience coding and maintaining applications which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).
