We are seeking an experienced COBOL Developer to support large-scale mainframe application systems within a Unisys 2200 / Clear Path environment. This role involves development, maintenance, production support, team coordination, and system-level analysis for mission‑critical applications.

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot applications using COBOL 74/85 on Unisys 2200 series / Clear Path mainframes.
• Monitor daily production jobs, identify errors, perform debugging, and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct system analysis, technical design, structured programming, unit testing, and integrated system testing.
• Utilize Unisys ECL, TIP, and DMS 2200/RDMS for application development and support.
• Create, maintain, and support web services operating within a mainframe environment.
• Manage mainframe application development processes including system enhancements, upgrades, and migrations.
• Lead development teams: assign tasks, coordinate project activities, and collaborate with stakeholders, requestors, and end users.
• Perform real‑time transaction processing programming using structured programming techniques, including code reviews and walkthroughs.

• 7+ years hands‑on COBOL (74/85) development on Unisys 2200 or Clear Path mainframes.
• 7+ years experience with Unisys ECL, TIP, and DMS 2200/RDMS

• 2+ years experience creating and maintaining web services in a mainframe environment.
• 5+ years managing mainframe application system development.
• 5+ years managing development staff and coordinating multi‑team project activities.
• 5+ years performing real‑time transaction programming using structured programming techniques (analysis, design, walkthroughs, code reviews).

Compensation: $70.89 per hour
