Rate: $50 to $55 per hour

The Expert Software Architect will design, architect, and implement enterprise-level software solutions as part of a large modernization initiative. This role requires strong technical leadership, deep experience with Java/JEE technologies, and the ability to guide development teams in building scalable, secure, and high-quality applications.

• Implement application development standards, including UI guidelines, coding standards, and development methodologies.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison with infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues and improve application functionality.
• Support infrastructure activities including performance testing, failover planning, endurance testing, and deployment readiness.
• Design, develop, and review enterprise applications using Java/JEE, JSF, XML, XSLT, IBM Portal, and Web Sphere tools.
• Oversee development tasks including data modeling, data analysis, data manipulation, testing, and implementation.
• Prepare and review technical documentation such as design documents, schemas, and architecture diagrams.

• 7+ years of experience providing technical guidance to large teams or equivalent expert-level industry experience at the top of the field.

• 7+ years of experience guiding iterative development teams designing and integrating complex JEE-based systems involving data structures, algorithms, and enterprise architecture.
• 7+ years of experience developing applications using JDK 1.8 or higher with JSF/JSP.
• 6+ years of experience working with JMS, EJB, MQ 6.0+, XML, JAXB, and JAX-WS.
• 6+ years of experience using JPA and/or Hibernate with Oracle or SQL Server databases.
• 4+ years of experience using Prime Faces, Angular, or React
  
  JS.
• 2+ years of experience using IBM Web Sphere Liberty.
