Location: Capital Region, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (OT based on project needs)

Job SummaryWe are hiring skilled Commercial Electricians to support a major retail construction project in the Capital Region of New York. This role is ideal for mid-level electricians and electrical helpers ready to take on significant work across the state. You will work alongside a licensed electrician within a team of 3–5, completing high-quality installations on fast‑paced commercial jobsites.
Key Responsibilities- Install electrical systems for large commercial retail construction projects
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Machine bend 4-inch conduit with accuracy
- Hand bend 1-inch conduit (offsets, saddles, kicks)
- Lay out and install EMT, rigid, and other conduit systems
- Nest conduit to ensure clean, professional installations
- Pull wire and install panels, fixtures, devices, and related components
- Ensure compliance with NEC , local codes, and project requirements
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Follow all jobsite safety rules and company standards
- Minimum 2 years of commercial electrical construction experience
- Experience on warehouses, big-box retail, healthcare, hospital, or industrial projects
- Proficient in both machine and hand conduit bending
- Ability to work independently on daily assigned tasks
- Comfortable working at heights
- Willingness to travel throughout New York
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- 3–5 years of commercial construction electrical experience
- Demonstrated experience machine bending 4-inch conduit
- Strong hand-bending skills up to 1-inch conduit
- Experience nesting conduit in commercial installations
- Retail build-out or tenant fit‑out experience
- Ability to coordinate with other trades on active jobsites
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Trade school training or electrician license (preferred, not required)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical jobsite tasks

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albany, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00/hr.
