Journeyman Electrician

Overview

Cedar Park Group (CPG) is seeking Journeyman Electrician/Wiremen for work in secure laboratory / medical / industrial / R&D environments
. This role supports critical electrical infrastructure across multiple facilities within the region.
Primary assignment will be at one site, with occasional travel to other nearby sites as needed.

Mon.

-Fri./7:30am to 3:30pm

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems in complex facility environments (lab/medical/industrial/R&D)
• Work with three-phase systems
  , including safe practices around energized equipment
• Support and service BMS-controlled equipment and VFD-driven motors
• Perform work involving generators
  , UPS systems
  , and motor control centers (MCCs)
• Terminate and test Cat6 cabling as required
• Follow strict site protocols for secure environments, including access procedures and documentation
• Work from ladders, scaffolding, and boom lifts; perform tasks at heights when required
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with all safety policies and procedures

• Journeyman Wireman status
• 3+ years of experience in a laboratory, medical, industrial, or R&D setting
• Three-phase Arc Flash training (required)
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training and hands-on experience (required)
• Experience with BMS and VFDs
• Experience with generators, UPS, and MCCs
• Experience terminating Cat6 cable
• Comfortable working at heights; experienced using ladders, scaffolding, and boom lifts
• Prior experience working in a secure facility environment
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally between sites as needed
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an exemption approved

• Positions are primarily assigned to one facility, but local travel between nearby sites may be required depending on project demands.
