Responsibilities- Execute outbound sales & marketing campaigns to generate high‑quality leads for senior sellers.
- Research prospective customers and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Own the pipeline of SMB opportunities within a designated territory and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Define and refine sales processes and policies to improve team effectiveness.
- Represent Canonical at events and conferences worldwide and drive face‑to‑face marketing opportunities.
- Proven success in SDR or outbound sales with a track record of exceeding quotas and driving qualified pipeline growth.
- Experience navigating senior executive accounts to uncover new customer opportunities.
- Strong background in enterprise software or technology sales.
- Exceptional academic track record from high school through university.
- Passion for business and technology, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills with advanced presentation ability.
- Result‑driven, high‑energy, and persistent with a growth mindset.
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events.
- Distributed work environment with twice‑yearly in‑person team sprints.
