Overview
Founded in Cleveland, OH, NSA has been the guardian of American workers since the Great Depression. Our mission is to ensure that every worker returns home safely at the end of the day. NSA owns and operates 10 USA manufacturing plants, employs more than 1,000 American workers, and makes the best safety apparel for the American worker. We are adding to our sales team as a Field Sales Manager to drive business growth within a designated territory, cultivate connections with end users, and motivate distributors to promote and sell NSA’s product line.
The ideal candidate has a strong sales background, hunter mentality, and a track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
Essential Job Functions- Develop and implement a sales strategy for NSA’s end users within a designated territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with NSA’s direct customers, providing training and motivation to promote NSA products to end users.
- Collaborate with the Director of Strategic Accounts to increase NSA’s market share with major distributor customers through end user training and promotional programs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and streamline sales processes.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts, staying informed about new products and competitive dynamics.
- Frequent travel is required.
Current Territory (may change): NY, VT, ME, NH, MA, CT, RI
Salary Range: $125,000 – $140,000
Qualifications- Education &
Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. - Experience: 3+ years of sales experience preferred.
- Proven success as an Account Manager, Field Sales Manager, or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of sales processes and dynamics.
- Strong leadership, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of sales performance metrics and reporting.
- Maintains high personal integrity, sales proficiency, and a strong work ethic.

- Must be able to sit/stand for the duration of the workday; daily computer use.
- Lift up to 50 lbs; carry and transport sample bags.
