We are seeking an experienced Director of Strategic Growth (Sales & Marketing) – Semiconductor & Metallurgy Markets to spearhead growth for our DSI team in Poestenkill, NY. This role is ideal for a driven, innovative leader who thrives on building strategies that open new markets, strengthen partnerships, and expand global reach. You will be the architect of VPG’s growth, responsible for identifying opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, and driving revenue through strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration.

• Lead business development and market expansion initiatives across global Weighing & Control sectors.
• Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic growth opportunities through partnerships, acquisitions, and new customer segments.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to align market insights with product development and commercialization.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
• Develop and implement data‑driven sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals.
• Represent VPG at industry conferences, trade shows, and global customer meetings (up to 50% travel).

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Business Development, Sales, or Marketing leadership, preferably within industrial, sensing, or high‑tech manufacturing industries.
• Proven record of driving strategic growth and delivering measurable results.
• Experience managing global markets and complex sales cycles.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities with a passion for innovation and collaboration.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%).

• Salary range: $175,000–$200,000 annually
