We're looking for a driven and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to help grow our local market presence. If you're a motivated self-starter with strong communication skills and a passion for building client relationships, we want to hear from you!

Job Summary

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within our healthcare, life science, and financial service customer success teams. This role is 100% outbound-focused, with a strong emphasis on prospecting and lead generation to expand our existing client base.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, email outreach, networking, and in-person visits.
  • Build relationships with hiring managers and decision-makers in target companies within your assigned territory.
  • Understand client staffing needs and present tailored service offerings.
  • Set and attend meetings (virtual or in-person) with prospective clients to pitch staffing solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with recruiters to ensure client requirements are understood and fulfilled.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, and deals in the CRM.
  • Meet or exceed weekly/monthly activity and revenue goals.
  • Represent the company at local industry events and networking functions.
Qualifications
  • 0–3 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (staffing or B2B sales preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in cold calling and building relationships with new contacts.
  • Goal-oriented with a proactive, competitive mindset.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing a sales pipeline.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or Hub Spot is a plus.
  • Local market knowledge is a plus; must be willing to travel locally for client visits.
