Job SummaryAs a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within our healthcare, life science, and financial service customer success teams. This role is 100% outbound-focused, with a strong emphasis on prospecting and lead generation to expand our existing client base.
Responsibilities- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, email outreach, networking, and in-person visits.
- Build relationships with hiring managers and decision-makers in target companies within your assigned territory.
- Understand client staffing needs and present tailored service offerings.
- Set and attend meetings (virtual or in-person) with prospective clients to pitch staffing solutions.
- Collaborate closely with recruiters to ensure client requirements are understood and fulfilled.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, and deals in the CRM.
- Meet or exceed weekly/monthly activity and revenue goals.
- Represent the company at local industry events and networking functions.
- 0–3 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (staffing or B2B sales preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in cold calling and building relationships with new contacts.
- Goal-oriented with a proactive, competitive mindset.
- Highly organized and capable of managing a sales pipeline.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or Hub Spot is a plus.
- Local market knowledge is a plus; must be willing to travel locally for client visits.
