Parking Attendant

SUMMARY:

The Parking Attendant greets customers as they enter the 208 Washington Avenue Parking lot, provides direction on where to park, maintains and secures the keys, and moves cars as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times
• Assist customers and direct them to a parking space
• Maintain and keep the customers keys secure
• Be present and alert at all times while on duty in order to provide the best customer experience and keep the lot secure
• Exercise restraint and patience when dealing with a disruptive customer
• Maintain the rules and regulations of the building
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Prior experience as a Parking Attendant or Security Guard helpful
• Good communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• Must have valid driver license and the ability to operate many different vehicles

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires work outdoors and is exposed to the elements (heat, rain, snow, etc.).

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 11:30am- 5:30pm

Pay Rate: $24.33 per hour
