Cashier​/Food Service Worker

Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.

Christian Brothers Academy - 12 Airline Drive, Albany, NY 12205.

Full-time schedule. Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 2:00 pm. More details upon interview.

• No experience is necessary. Willing to train!

Pay Range: $16.00 per hour to $18.00 per hour.

Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

• Operate Point of Sale (POS) system and cashier duties within established procedures, ensuring cash accuracy with receipts; may include deposits at end of shift.
• Assist the Chef and prepare food items (meats, vegetables, baked goods, desserts) and assist with catering orders.
• Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Manage inventories and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up serving lines, monitor temperatures as required, notify cooks if temperatures fall outside acceptable ranges.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers and set up items for daily purchase.
• Keep refrigerator stocked and rotate products using FIFO; ensure par levels and daily floor stock records are maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
