Samaritan Hospital - Food Service Supervisor - Full Time - Rotating

Samaritan Hospital, a member of St. Peter’s Health Partners (SPHP).
- Directs and supervises nutrition service activities and the delivery of food to the patient floors.
- Coordinates all patient meal services for each day, including the production of cold meals and the delivery of all food items to patients.
- Completes administrative paperwork and responsibilities (e.g., coordinating employee schedules, hiring new staff, completing employee appraisals, and administering disciplinary action as needed).
- Adhere to SPHP code of conduct.
- Lead and supervise staff that includes all food and nutrition associates.
- Ensure proper assembly, service of foods, and sanitation/safety of service in all utility areas of the department.
- Ensure the safe and efficient use of resources.
- Act in a fair and professional manner at all times.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 years of supervisory/management experience
- Food service and customer service experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with set deadlines
- Effective communication with staff and management
Pay Range: $
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
