Unit OverviewThe Progressive Critical Care Unit cares for some of the region’s most medically delicate and surgically complex patients, including:
- Respiratory failure
- Sepsis
- Closed head injuries
- Multi-system organ dysfunction
- Endocrine disorders
- Complex trauma and surgical complications
- Competent in medical and surgical patient care
- ACLS certification
- Advanced hemodynamic management including pressors per titration protocols
- Management of antihypertensive drips, sedatives, Narcan, thrombo-embolic agents
- A-line, CVP, EVD, orthopedic traction, infection prevention protocols
- Experience with HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, and Oxypendent
Average 3 high-acuity patients
Additional InformationHuman Edge Travel Healthcare Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Posted job title: PCU RN.
