Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for OVERNIGHT (11p-7a) shifts.

Pay Rate

Pay Rate: $18.00-$25.00/hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)
  • Performs duties such as activities of daily living—bathing, dressing, assistance in nutrition and hydration, locomotion/ambulation, feeding, incontinence care, toileting, oral hygiene, skin care, grooming (comb/brush hair, nail care, shave), bowel and bladder assistance, maintenance rehab, proper understanding of least restrictive device regulations, proper utilization of restraint devices, special care needs.
  • Provide for residents with special needs related to their diagnosis (e.g., behavioral issues, splints, etc.).
  • Reports all cases of alleged violations involving mistreatment, neglect or abuse including injuries of unknown sources.
  • Documents resident care accurately and completely at point of care using a computerized medical record system.
  • Notes resident changes of condition and reports same to LPN/RN.
  • Answers call bells in a timely and polite manner.
  • Assists in provision of post‑mortem care.
  • Performs vital signs as directed.
  • Reports on duty, listens to or obtains report from Charge Nurse, receives assignment.
  • Makes two‑hour and PRN rounds on all residents.
  • Keeps unit neat and clean; straightens nourishment station, cleans dirty utility room and other areas as assigned.
  • Ensures the resident is out of bed, dressed and ready to participate in activities of choice.
  • Provides assistance with ADLs during activities if necessary.
  • Assists resident to participate in individual activities of choice (e.g., setting up equipment, positioning assistance, providing sufficient lighting and space).
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Main Duties and Critical Tasks
  • Care for multiple residents in the facility. Observe Resident Rights.
  • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
  • Assist nurse with admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
  • Assist nurse in giving treatments and examining residents.
  • Assist with restorative and rehab care with proper instruction and supervision.
  • Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required education and experience:
  • Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of practice and employment.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with other personnel.
