American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool night shift position requiring an active NY RN license and recent Epic EMR experience.

• Work in a Med/Surg Float Pool within a hospital setting
• Float between various medical-surgical units as assigned
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required
• Competency testing required, with a maximum of two attempts to pass
• More than three call outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination, and makeup shifts must be completed within six weeks
• RTO (requested time off) must be submitted with application
• Travelers may only apply to one position at a time
• Travel pairs are not allowed
• No local candidates allowed from designated counties within a 50-mile radius

• Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg experience required
• BLS certification from either AHA or RQI required
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required
• Only medical flu exemptions signed by a licensed professional will be accepted
