Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg General Surgery and Trauma night position requiring NY licensure and EPIC experience.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital general surgery/trauma med-surg unit,

• Patient population includes general surgery and trauma cases,

• EPIC EMR experience is required,

• Night shift position from 19:00 to 07:30,

• No blocked scheduling is permitted,

Job Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration,

• Minimum of 2 years of recent med/surg general surgery/trauma nursing experience,

• Current BLS certification from AHA or RQI,

• Proven experience working with EPIC EMR,

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months,

• US Social Security Number required;
Canadian SIN not accepted,

• Facility only accepts medical flu vaccine exemptions signed by a licensed professional,

Additional Information

• Competency testing may be required for applicants with less than 2 years of experience,

• More than 3 call outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination, and make up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of last call out,

• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted at time of consideration,

• No local candidates accepted from specified counties within a 50 mile radius,

• Travel pairs are not allowed for this position,
