Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Operating Room position requiring an active NY RN license and Epic EMR experience.

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 21:00 to 07:30
• 13-week contract assignment
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• No local candidates allowed from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties within a 50-mile radius
• Competency testing required for the position
• More than 3 call outs during the 13-week contract may lead to termination; makeup shifts must be completed within 6 weeks
• Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience required
• Current certifications from AHA or RQI required
• Experience with Epic EMR is mandatory
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must provide a US Social Security Number
• Medical documentation required for flu vaccine exemptions—no personal or religious exemptions accepted
