Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift position in New York, requiring a current NY RN license and Epic EMR experience.

• Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Assignment is for 13 weeks
• Uses Epic EMR system and Epic experience is required
• No local candidates allowed from specified counties within a 50-mile radius
• Competency testing required, with two attempts to pass
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• More than three call outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination, and make-up shifts must be completed within six weeks
• RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at the time of application
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
• Travelers may only submit to one position at a time

• Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or RQI required
• Must have recent Epic EMR experience
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required
• Flu vaccination required unless a medical exemption is signed by a licensed professional
