St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking an experienced Critical Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our established inpatient team er’s Hospital in Albany, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to practice high?acuity medicine in a supportive, physician?led environment that values teamwork, clinical excellence, and work?life balance.

Position Highlights

  • Closed ICU model with 24/7 Intensivist coverage
  • Full-time schedule: 12 shifts per month-12 hour shifts (6 days/6 nights)
  • Collaborative, experienced multidisciplinary team
  • Opportunity to manage a diverse population of critically ill adult patients

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of critically ill adult patients, including bedside procedures, physical exams, and diagnostic testing
  • Collaborate closely with intensivists, specialists, nurses, respiratory therapists
  • Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to care planning
  • Ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient care and documentation

Qualifications

  • Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with Critical Care experience required
  • Current or eligibility for New York State licensure
  • Ability to thrive within a collaborative, closed?

    ICU model
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills

Recruitment Package

St. Peter’s Health Partners offers a comprehensive and competitive compensation package, including:

  • Compensation is between $147,709 and $161,291 commensurate with experience
  • The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
