Full time. Shift: 12 Hour Evening Shift.
- Supervisor is responsible for collaborating with the manager for the planning, priority setting, coordination and evaluation of programs for patient care in designated patient populations. This includes the daily monitoring of administrative and clinical systems which support patient care.
- The Supervisor facilitates collegial relationships between care teams, supplements staff, and collaborates with leadership staff in assuring adequate staffing is achieved throughout the division.
- The Supervisor supports, plans, implements, and evaluates program goals and supports policies of St. Peter’s Health Partners to assure Patient Focused Care.
- NL I – supervising:
Frontline, department-based, direct or indirect healthcare department / program; formally / informally supervises daily & / or house functions of charge nurses, professional & frontline staff (multidisciplinary team) of assigned department; may or may not have direct report relationships; may be accountable for staff coordination, scheduling & assignment or throughput; may participate in & contributes to the performance management / review process;
contributes to daily performance and daily adherence to regulatory requirements and drives results of the team within the assigned department; implements departmental plans & priorities identified by accountable nurse leaders.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice / employment.
- Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Leadership experience & / or other experience / licensure / certifications aligned with area of responsibility & assignment.
$41.75-$58.20
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
