Registered Nurse (22452) at Northern Rivers Family of Services

We are a small Nursing Community located in Albany, NY, seeking a Full‑time Registered Nurse for evenings and weekends. You will work with a team of dedicated professionals providing care and treatment to children in our private facility. You should be comfortable communicating with families, providers, and social workers to meet the needs of this population. New full‑time RN hires are eligible for a $5,000 sign‑on bonus (if not already staff).

• Base location in a smaller facility that offers reduced caseloads and less stress than typical hospital settings
• Pay rate of $40/hour with a differential for evenings, nights, and weekends

• Provide compassionate, attentive care to children and youth
• Conduct medical evaluations and ongoing medication management
• Conduct medication reviews with consulting physicians for consistency of care
• Exhibit excellent assessment and communication skills
• Experience working with an adolescent population is desired but not required
• Understand and/or have interest in Trauma‑Informed Care practices

• RN Licensed in New York State
• CPR Certification required
• Registered Nurse 1–2 years’ experience preferred
• Experience working with youth and adolescent populations desired
• Must pass physical exam
• Must be able to complete TCI training
