• Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and special tests, and documents treatment as required by policy and regulations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Assesses and evaluates patient needs and responses to care.
• Uses sound nursing judgment in patient care decisions.
• Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
• Administers medications as ordered.
• Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care.
• Directs and guides ancillary personnel and maintains professional standards.

• Graduate of a professional nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree)
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license
• Certification in BLS and ACLS
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and problem-solving tools
