The RN Unit Manager is responsible for the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of a nursing unit in a skilled nursing / long-term care facility
. This role provides leadership, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports high-quality resident care.
- Supervise nursing staff and daily unit operations
- Ensure compliance with DOH, CMS, and facility policies
- Oversee care plans, clinical documentation, and chart audits
- Provide leadership, coaching, and clinical support to nursing staff
- Address resident and family concerns professionally
- Maintain appropriate staffing and unit supply levels
- Collaborate with administration and interdisciplinary teams
- Active NY Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Prior RN Supervisor or Unit Manager experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Basic computer and EMR documentation skills
- Salary: $95,000–$105,000 annually
- Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 8:00am–4:00pm - Day shift leadership role
