Location: City of Albany
Clinical Nurse II: D6E (Labor & Delivery) – 36 hrs/week
Night shifts 7pm–7am, weekend and holiday coverage. Albany, NY.
Job OverviewA role in Labor & Delivery to implement orders, administer meds, manage patient care, support emergency situations, and collaborate on care plans.
Responsibilities- Implement physician orders & administer medications.
- Start IVs, perform treatments and special tests.
- Assess patient needs and respond to care.
- Provide emergency care and collaborate on care plans.
- Approved RN program graduate with NYS RN license.
- BLS & ACLS certified.
- 1–3 years Med‑Surg/Progressive Care experience.
- Strong communication & organizational skills.
Requires weekend/holiday coverage; may access HIPAA‑protected information.
