Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Critical Care Unit position requiring a NY RN license and Epic EMR experience.

• Work in the Progressive Critical Care Unit within a hospital setting
• Adult progressive care and critical patient population
• Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
• Uses Epic EMR system
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• Must not reside in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties within a 50-mile radius
• More than three call outs in a 13-week period will result in contract termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of last call out
• Requested time off must be submitted with application
• Travel pairs are not permitted
• Travelers may only apply to one position at a time

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in progressive or critical care nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI required
• Epic EMR experience is required for all candidates
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required;
  Canadian SIN not accepted
• Flu vaccine required unless a medical exemption is signed by a licensed professional
• Competency testing must be completed with up to 2 attempts to pass
