Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Critical Care Unit position in New York requiring an active NY RN license, Epic experience, and relevant specialty certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in a Progressive Critical Care Unit within a hospital setting
- Day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
- No blocked scheduling is permitted
- Applicants may not reside within the following NY counties:
Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington - Epic EMR experience is required for all clinicians
- Competency testing is required with up to two attempts to pass for ICU nurses
- Requests for time off must be included with initial application
- More than three call outs during a 13-week contract will result in contract termination, with makeup shifts required within six weeks
- Travel pairs are not permitted for this assignment
- Candidates may only apply to one position with this client at a time
- Active NY RN license required at time of application
- Minimum 2 years of recent specialty experience required
- Certifications from AHA or RQI required, including BLS and ACLS as specified by unit
- Epic EMR experience is required for consideration
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number required for eligibility
- Medical flu exemptions must be signed by a licensed professional
